Group Legal Counsel, Regulatory (7+ PQE) – 16776/VTA

Job Description
Our client, one of the world’s largest retail groups, seeks to hire an experienced regulatory lawyer to join their Hong Kong office. Reporting to the Group Head of Regulatory, you will lead key regulatory compliance programs, including competition law compliance, data privacy, anti-bribery and anti-corruption compliance, KYC due diligence systems, within the Asian markets.
Job Requirements
- The ideal candidate will be a Common Law qualified lawyer with a minimum of 7 years’ regulatory PQE of competition law with an international law firm or MNC.
- Experience dealing with regional regulators and conducting investigations within the retail/FMCG sector is required.
- Technology literate, cultural awareness, and excellent communication skills are mandatory, as well as fluent written and oral English skills.
- Proficient Cantonese or Mandarin Chinese is a strong plus. REF: 16776/VTA
