Some of the biggest names in international sport, retail, media and manufacturing are fighting small Indian companies in a string of trademark wars.
Among the icons are Wal-Mart, GAP, Kraft Foods, BNP Paribas, Disney, Time Inc and sports star David Beckham. They claim Indian companies have applied for trademarks that may infringe on those they own.
