Gibson Dunn & Crutcher has hired a financial services regulatory team from Herbert Smith Freehills led by partner William Hallatt and comprising associates Emily Rumble, Becky Chung and Arnold Pun, all of whom are based in Hong Kong.

Hallatt has more than a decade of experience advising on financial regulatory matters, covering both contentious and non-contentious issues. Before joining Gibson Dunn, he was head of HSF’s financial services regulatory practice in Asia for seven years. He began his legal career at Linklaters in London in 2003.
