European law firm Fieldfisher announced its latest merger with Chinese firm JS Partners, creating another Swiss verein combination in China’s legal market that hopes to assist investors looking to plant capital overseas.

“Through this merger, Fieldfisher will be able to provide a one-stop full service to Chinese clients that would like to invest abroad,” said Zhou Zhaofeng, the managing partner of Fieldfisher in Beijing and previous managing partner of JS Partners.
Bai Baoen, a Fieldfisher partner who also came from JS Partners, added: “We will also be able to help on China-related matters to our European clients, which may benefit those clients with added value and broaden our service spectrum of our firm as a whole.”
