Rai Mittal, a former senior member at Titus & Co, has established his own law firm, RS & Co Law Offices. Mittal spent 14 years at Titus & Co, before which he worked at Singhania & Co and Lall Lahiri & Salhotra. He has almost two decades’ experience of corporate and commercial advisory work, contracts, arbitration, litigation strategy and intellectual property law. His new firm is a full-service firm with core competencies in dispute resolution, IP, corporate and commercial law, foreign direct investment, mergers and acquisitions, licensing, regulatory advisory work, real estate and contracts.

“The decision to launch my own firm was certainly not based on financial rewards,” Mittal told India Business Law Journal. “I was driven instead by the desire to control my own destiny … to take up new challenges, to invite opportunities to grow, to broaden my mind and to interact with more people.
RS & Co began operations in Noida on 25 June. In addition to Mittal, it has four partners – Priya Shivdasani, Puneet Arora, Manoj Jain and Sanjay Jain – and nine associates. Shivdasani previously worked at Titus & Co, Rajinder Narain & Co and Trilegal, while Arora practised with Titus & Co, Kochhar & Co and Amarchand Mangaldas.
