The ACC Australia 2017 Corporate Counsel Days™ are under way, providing a unique educational and networking contribution to the Australian in-house legal community.
This annual series of full-day events are delivered across the state capitals of Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth from March to May, featuring different speakers across a range of formats.
The events are specifically geared to in-house legal professionals and the speaker line-ups feature the best and brightest of Australia’s in-house legal sector.

Speakers representing the in-house community at the 2017 events include: Carmel Mulhern, group general counsel at Telstra Corporation; Chris Robertson, general counsel Australia at South32; and Sarah Thornton, general counsel and company secretary at Brisbane Airport Corporation.
The events also feature a range of thought-provoking presentations pertinent to the in-house profession. A feature of the Sydney event was a moving presentation by human-rights lawyer and retired British Army officer Rabia Siddique, where she explored the themes of moral courage, leading by example, and standing up for one’s principles in the face of criticism, adversity and sacrifice.
