Arbitration proceedings in disputes between a German wind turbine maker, Enercon, and its Indian joint venture partner, Enercon India, took place over four days in early December at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre.
An arbitration tribunal headed by Lord Hoffmann, a retired UK law lord, and comprising Justice BN Srikrishna, a former judge of the Supreme Court of India, and VV Veeder QC, a member of Essex Court Chambers, passed preliminary orders and set timetables for hearings in the case.
