DLA Piper has recruited Horace Lam as partner to lead its intellectual property and technology team in Beijing and assume the role of Head of IP, China.

Lam moves from Jones Day in Beijing and prior to that Hogan Lovells, where he also headed up the firm’s China IP practice as Beijing office managing partner. He brings with him a team of four lawyers.
Lam practices both contentious and non-contentious IP work and has experience representing multinationals on IP issues in China. His practice includes licensing, trademarks, copyright, patents, confidential information, trade secrets, technology and knowhow transfer, and design rights.
