Azure Power has appointed Dipti Lavya Swain, a former partner at Luthra & Luthra, as general counsel. Swain succeeds Pathik Arora who left Azure Power in August 2017 after seven months in the role. Arora works at Hammurabi & Solomon as an equity partner.

Commenting on Swain’s departure, Mohit Saraf, senior partner at Luthra & Luthra, told India Business Law Journal, “I am sad to let Dipti go, but wish him all the best. He was very keen to take up the challenge of being a GC.”
