Zhong Lun Law Firm has opened an office in downtown Manhattan, in response to an increasing demand from its clients.
The new office is led by Philip Zhang and T K Chang, both with tens of years of practice experience with leading international law firms. The office is also supported by more than 40 partners of the firm worldwide.

“An increasing number of our major clients, namely China’s large state-owned enterprises and private companies, have gone overseas to do investments, as well as mergers and acquisitions, since the 2008 financial crisis,” Anthony Qiao, a Shanghai-based partner at Zhong Lun, told China Business Law Journal.
“In these two years, even some of our Chinese clients in the real estate industry have also gone to New York, New Jersey, etc., to do construction work. Given this background, we have decided to open a new office in New York this year.”
