Introduction

Wendy Yan helps clients cross borders to grow their businesses. She has extensive experience in multi-jurisdictional mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financing, technology transfers, venture capital, private equity and general corporate counselling, and various types of inbound and outbound investments relating to China.

Her Chinese inbound experience includes representing multinational companies and private equity investors in the acquisition of Chinese businesses, representing multinational companies in forming and operating wholly foreign-owned and joint venture enterprises in China and representing venture capital/private equity investors and technology companies in numerous equity financing transactions related to China businesses. Her Chinese outbound experience includes representing famous Chinese companies in their overseas acquisitions and other investment projects.

Yan is particularly experienced in advising clients in, among others: media and entertainment; chemicals; energy; technology; automotive; telecommunications; consumer products; real estate; and construction.
