Introduction

Zhou Kaiguo deals with complex cross-border and domestic commercial disputes, as well as corporate compliance, restructuring and insolvency projects. In particular, he focuses on dispute resolution in the fields of corporate equity, asset management, international trade, shipping and energy. He has represented clients of significance.

Zhou graduated from the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) with a Bachelor of Law degree, and from the London School of Economics (LSE) with an M.Sc degree in Law and Accounting. Prior to becoming a partner at Jingtian & Gongcheng, Zhou was with a number of leading law firms for many years.

He has worked with the China Ministry of Transport, with an intergovernmental organisation in the UK and with CITIC Securities concerning finance and construction law teams. In recent years, Zhou has studied at the University of Chicago. He has been a member of the arbitrator panel of an important arbitration commission and has served as an adjunct professor at the UIBE law school.
