Introduction

Jocelyn Tsao is a partner in the family team at Withers, specialising in divorce litigation for 15 years.

She advises on all aspects of matrimonial law including financial disputes in divorce cases, and disputes on child custody and international child abduction.

Tsao has worked on some of the most high-profile cases to come before the courts in Hong Kong, involving high net worth individuals with diverse and complex issues such as offshore trusts, corporate structures, financial injunctions and discovery, as well as cross-jurisdictional divorces which require coordination with overseas solicitors and experts. Her recent cases involved cross-border divorces, and issues regarding competing jurisdictions, financial discovery and dealing with third party interests.

Tsao is also passionate about cases involving children’s interests, custody, care and control, and has successfully dealt with many child relocation cases and Hague Convention cases involving international child abduction before the High Court.
