Introduction

Dr Lin has over 20 years of experience in international commercial law, with a focus on private equity, venture capital, foreign direct investment, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, antitrust, cybersecurity and data protection. Dr Lin’s experience covers various industrial sectors, including inter alia, life science, healthcare, automotive and technology, media, telecoms (TMT). His in-depth knowledge of these sectors enables him to provide unique solutions to questions raised. Dr Lin had advised many influential cases in the areas of corporate, M&A and antitrust. He advised the first foreign strategic investment in a Chinese A-share-listed company, which triggered the PRC Ministry of Commerce’s first Chinese antitrust review. Major international private equity funds retained his services for their investments in China. He also frequently advised A-share and overseas IPO transactions of PRC companies. His profound knowledge and practical experience in international investment law has won him high reputation in the legal profession, as well as multinational companies.
