Introduction
In 2008, Sam Wong established Grand & Holders Law Firm. After 11 years of development under the leadership of Wong, Grand & Holders has boosted its prestige and been awarded honours by Asian Legal Business as China’s Fastest Growing Law Firm and Rising Law Firm of the Year in 2014, and Employer of Choice in 2016 and 2019, respectively. He is now a legal counsel for several government offices, such as the Guangzhou Municipal People’s Government, and some key city projects. In recognition of his excellence in providing outstanding and professional legal service, Wong has been named vice-president of the Guangzhou Lawyers Association, director of the Guangdong Lawyers Association’s real estate and construction specialised committee, Deputy to the Tianhe District People’s Congress (Guangzhou), arbitrator of the China Maritime Arbitration Committee, and adjunct professor of the Law School of South China Normal University.
