Introduction

Zhu Hongwen is a well-known lawyer in the field of energy, natural resources and infrastructure. She is also an arbitrator at the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, and a member of the International Bar Association’s power law committee, corporate and M&A law committee, international construction projects committee and arbitration committee.

Zhu has rich experience in M&A, project development and dispute resolution. In the past 20 years, she has provided comprehensive legal services for many significant projects in the energy, natural resources and environmental sectors, advising on equipment import, technology transfer, FDI, financing, construction and operation of projects in China. She assisted Chinese enterprises in investing in, acquiring and building projects, and operating subsidiaries in more than 30 countries by providing “one-stop” legal services, together with overseas legal colleagues, and solving many claims and disputes arising from cross-border projects. Some of the transactions she advised are listed among the deals of the year by China Business Law Journal, Asian Legal Business, and IFLR.
