Introduction

Guan Jian is a managing partner of Globe-Law Law Firm in Beijing. He was selected as one of the “One Thousand Foreign-Related Lawyer Talent Pool” by the Ministry of Justice, the “Leading International Lawyers Talent Pool” by the China Bar Association, and the first batch of guiding experts of the National Overseas Intellectual Property Dispute Resolution & Guidance Centre.

Guan has more than 15 years’ experience in the field of WTO and international trade law. He participated in several WTO dispute settlement cases, and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement legal scrubbing, representing the central government. Guan assists clients in many international economic and trade conflict-related investigations and reviews, including section 301 investigations, special 301 reviews, and WTO compliance reviews of China. He has also participated in more than 100 trade remedy investigations, and worked actively in the US economic sanctions and export controls area, which involves a wide range of industries.
