CDI animation unit list London

A proposed London listing of Compact Disc India (CDI), a 3-D animation outsourcing company is expected to raise US$50 million.

The company will be listed under the name MediaOne Ventures, on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange, the Hindustan Times reported.

UK law firm Howard Kennedy has been appointed as legal advisers. Compact Disc India has already signed a US$20.15 million deal to coproduce a Hollywood animated film “GoaaaaaL!” with Motion Pixel Corporation.

MediaOne Ventures has said it plans to undertake four international film projects every year.

Companies with capital of between US$5 million and US$150 million can list on AIM, which has 1,600 companies listed, including more than 250 from outside the UK.
