International law firm Jones Day has appointed Manoj Bhargava to its partnership in Singapore.
During his three years at the firm, Bhargava has concentrated on initial public offerings, follow-on offerings and private placements (including SEC-registered offerings and listings on the New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ, and the stock exchanges of Mumbai, London, Luxembourg and Singapore). His clients in India include issuers and Indian and international investment banks.

“Manoj has been instrumental in the development of our Southeast Asia and India practices and we are delighted to welcome him to the partnership where he will help lead the continued growth of the capital markets practice,” said David Longstaff, partner-in-charge of Jones Day’s Singapore office. In the past three years Bhargava has completed more than 20 capital markets and private equity transactions in India, while also handling transactions for clients in Australia, China, Europe and the US.
