Baker & McKenzie sought to raise its profile in the Indian legal market in July with two events for clients and fellow lawyers.
On 2 July, the firm hosted a seminar called “Indian Outbound Investment: The Key to Success” in collaboration with the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the Trident hotel in Mumbai.
The seminar addressed a variety of issues Indian companies come across when considering global strategic investments, including current market trends and outbound investment opportunities, cross-border M&A strategies and successful post-acquisition integration techniques. Partners from the firm’s New York, London, Zurich, Singapore, Shanghai and Sydney offices shared their experiences of working with Indian corporates as well as foreign enterprises looking to expand into India.
