Baker & McKenzie announced five new partners for its Hong Kong and mainland offices.
In Beijing, Liu Jinghua will focus on taxation while Andrew Sim will cover intellectual property (IP) law.
Liu heads the tax dispute resolution practice in China, and is experienced in M&A tax planning, turnover taxes, supply chain management, wealth planning, permanent establishment exposure and voluntary disclosures.
Sim’s practice covers IP enforcement and anti-piracy in the areas of trademarks, copyright, trade names, passing-off, unfair competition, designs, labelling laws, domain names, internet and technology laws.
