Manuel Manaligod is the new chairman of Cruz Marcelo & Tenefrancia.  He remains a member of the corporate and commercial law department, continuing his involvement in infrastructure and public utility projects undertaken or proposed to implemented through public-private-partnerships and similar arrangements. His practice include work in the water, transportation, information and communications technology, and power and energy sectors. 

Manaligod was a former director in the Office of the Chief Presidential Legal Counsel during the Ramos administration, and in such capacity helped draft executive issuances and implementing rules and regulations on various developmental issues and legislation.

Manaligod earned his bachelor of laws degree in 1991 from the University of the Philippines College of Law, and his master of laws degree (graduating with merit) in 1997 from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
