Introduction
Gilbert Raymund Reyes received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the Philippines in 1979. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the same university m 1983, graduating magna cum laude.
He is a professorial lecturer in intellectual property law at the UP College of Law. His fields of legal practice are civil, commercial and criminal litigation, industrial and intellectual property law and litigation, real property law and litigation, labour law and litigation, commercial arbitration. He is a respected innovator in intellectual property rights protection and enforcement of internationally famous marks.
He has represented some of the country’s largest real estate developers in landmark land disputes and helped them maneuver thru land use regulations.
He has also counseled many clients of the firm through delicate labour issues at the workplace to find a balance between social rights and employer prerogatives.
