Introduction
Trinh Hong Quang is founding and senior partner of ATIM Law Firm. He has more than 25 years of experience in different roles of law practitioner and business advisor in Vietnam. Quang studied economics law at Hanoi Law University and international business law at Case Westerns Reserve University in the US. He also obtained an MBA degree at the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand.
Trinh Hong Quang is now focusing on international trade law and business practices at ATIM. He has facilitated commercial and corporate transactions of international clients seeking to expand operations in Vietnam and/or have a transaction with local businesses. When representing international clients, he always promotes professional conduct practice and fair dealing with adaptation to the local context and culture. He gained intensive experience in business service in the role of in-house general counsel for the world’s largest food company, Nestle Vietnam, for ten years.

Notable engagements:
- Act as principal lawyer in reviewing the contractor’s claims of the EPC Turn Key Contract of Duyen Hai 3 Extension Project with a contract value of USD891 million.
- Act as principal lawyer in reviewing the EPC Turn Key Contract of Quang Ninh Thermo Power Plant with contract value of USD419 million.
- Act as principal lawyer in the MOT-CS-10 contract granted by the Vietnam Ministry of Transportation to review and give proposed action to the investor on the ongoing private public partnership projects in transportation, including 4 BT projects and 51 BOT projects.
- Represent the investor in negotiation with creditors, contractors in the design and consultancy work contract of the metro line Number 2 of Ho Chi Minh City.
- Represent client in a township development with total investment capital of USD350 million in the south of Saigon.
- Represent the numerous international exporters in various anti-dumping investigation cases initiated by Vietnam.
- Represent the domestic industry in the first AD case in Vietnam (AD01)
- Represent and assist numerous clients successfully implementing the reorganisational projects in Vietnam
