Introduction
Justin C Liang is a member of the firm’s banking and finance and securities practice groups. He regularly speaks at conferences on project financing, securities, bank lending and other extensions of credit matters. He also contributes articles to various publications on issues related to his area of practice. Liang earned his LLB from the National Taiwan University and received his LLM from the Graduate Law School of Soochow University. He is admitted to practice law in Taiwan’s courts.
Liang’s banking practice includes advising on the negotiation and documentation aspect of project financing and other matters related to bank lending or other extensions of credit. He also focuses on M&A transactions of financial institutions and post-acquisition integration. Additionally, Liang practices in the areas of non-performing loan purchase and sales. He also regularly handles the acquisition of failed financial institutions from the Central Deposits Insurance Company. Liang’s securities practice is focused on international capital markets transactions, including public and private offering of equity, equity-linked and debt securities with financing transactions.
