ALMT Legal advised beauty products retailer MyGlamm on its recent ₹1.41 billion (US$19 million) series C equity fundraise led by Ascent Capital, Amazon and Wipro Consumer.
K Law (Krishnamurthy & Co) represented Ascent Capital, which, along with other investors, acquired a 19.43% stake in MyGlamm.
ALMT Legal, which has advised MyGlamm on all its funding rounds, said this was the first time Amazon had invested in an Indian “consumer beauty brand”. The deal was signed on 16 March.
