Momentum seems to be building up for law firms crossing the mainland border to create joint operations, and Shenzhen witnessed a recent case in its Qianhai zone.
The Shanghai-headquartered AllBright Law Offices and the Hong Kong-based Stevenson Wong & Co recently opened a joint operation law firm in the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone in Shenzhen.

Xu Biao, a senior partner of AllBright’s Shenzhen office, told China Business Law Journal that Qianhai’s particular advantages are a good match for the business focus of AllBright and Stevenson Wong, which includes securities, financial products, and mergers and acquisitions.
