Africa is proving an increasingly attractive market for Indian companies, with one of the country’s top businessmen, Mukesh Ambani, entering the hotel and shopping mall development sectors on the continent.
Ambani, through the Kenyan-registered Delta Resources, has submitted plans to construct a five-star hotel Nairobi. Nani Mungai of Muriu Mungai & Company Advocates is advising Delta Resources on the transaction.
The Kenyan National Environment Management Authority has received an environmental-impact assessment report by Delta Resources for the proposed hotel in Nairobi’s central business district, Ratio Magazine reported.
