Badrinath Durvasula has joined Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) as its vice president and general counsel, saying the role will allow him to engage with public officials on issues of national importance.
“[The role] gives an opportunity to interact with authorities in the public domain to resolve issues for the future of the nation,” said Durvasula who was previously the senior vice president at Adani Group.

“Regulators and bureaucrats may come and go, but the path set for emerging India should stay robust. If I can be a part of that process, my move is justified.” He added that the country was on the verge of a huge infrastructure push.
