Africa is a land not to be ignored, particularly by Indian companies that know how to thrive in chaos, argues Sanjeev Gupta at Emerging Opportunity Consulting
Ruling powers over time have exploited Africa in varying forms. If a fraction of the wealth they took had been invested in the African savannah, the continent by now would have had more to offer than the big five game animals that tourists flock to see.

Colonial powers have given way to five new giants: China, India, Brazil, South Africa and Russia – hungry nations armed with people, money, vigour and a desire for economic development.
Africa is finally benefiting as its riches are not simply being robbed, but rather exchanged for investments and inward remittances from countries such as India.
