Introduction

Iwan Setiawan heads the Makes & Partners’ capital markets practice group and leads all Indonesian capital markets lawyers as the appointed chairman of the Indonesia Association of Capital Markets Legal Consultants for 2021-2024.

Iwan has led the firm in completing some of the biggest and landmark IPOs in Indonesia in the past three decades, including, most recently the IPOs of Mitratel and Blibli, the second and fifth biggest IPOs in Indonesia to date.

Apart from his proven in-depth knowledge and experience of capital markets laws, Iwan is known for his close relationship and connections with various regulators and key figures in the Indonesian capital markets landscape.
